What the annual tune-up actually covers
We inspect the heat exchanger, clean the burner and igniter, verify gas pressure and combustion CO/CO2 ratios, replace the filter, vacuum the blower and test all safety controls. On heat-pump combos we also check refrigerant charge, coil cleanliness and outdoor unit drainage.
Every tune-up is documented and emailed to you for insurance purposes.
- Heat exchanger inspection
- Burner + igniter clean
- Combustion analysis (CO, CO2, O2)
- Filter swap + blower vacuum
- Safety control test + thermostat calibration
Why West Vancouver rainfall demands more service
1,800+ mm of annual rainfall and the elevation gradient from Ambleside up to British Properties create venting issues most coastal cities don't face: condensate freezing in flue extensions, ice damming around exterior vents and corrosion on terminal screens.
Owners who skip the annual visit often discover this through a winter no-heat call. Renters get it caught preventively.
